Does anybody reverse commute from Columbia Heights / Mt. Pleasant to Friendship Heights / Bethesda?

I used run-commute once or twice a week, but since I sprained my ankle I think I'm going to try biking. Anyone ever have issues with Broad Branch Rd northbound in the mornings?

That's one of those roads that frankly feels worse than it is. It will be pretty light traffic in that direction, but what little there is may be impatient. Ignore them, take the lane and go whatever speed you feel comfortable at. Running flashers in the daytime can't hurt, either. Also be aware that the road surface has been pretty bad at times, though it's been a year or so since I last rode it.
