I've volunteered once again to head up the Ride Marshal wrangling duties for the annual Arlington Fun Ride, a slow-roll clockwise around the 16-mile Arlington Loop. We're looking for a few extra marshals this year as we'll likely have to detour around the closed Four Mile Run Trail section behind the Water Treatment Plant. Final course still TBD.

Ride starts and ends in Crystal City. Duties mostly include telling riders to stay right on the trail, and assisting with the street crossings.

Thanks. Henry

still don't know our travel plans for that weekend, but if I'm in Arlington I will marshal again.

Is the 11am end time fairly accurate? Trying to decide if I can make it to Columbia for 1:30 cx race ("race").

Yes, it has been, provided we leave on time (8am). We expect things will take a little longer this year with the FMR detour and optional scavenger hunts at the pit stops.

And thanks.

I'd signed up when it came across my Twitter feed just before my bike was swiped. I was worried I'd have to cancel, but now that I'm rolling again, I'm looking forward to marshaling. Finally! A route I know!
