Do you appreciate making people's day by giving them free things?
Are you mildly pleasant after consuming coffee early in the morning?

If any of this describes you even a little bit, Bike to Work Day needs you!

BikeArlington is once again recruiting help for our pit stops at Rosslyn (http://www.biketoworkmetrodc.org/archives/632), Ballston (http://www.biketoworkmetrodc.org/archives/584), Columbia Pike (http://www.biketoworkmetrodc.org/archives/3773) and Shirlington (http://www.biketoworkmetrodc.org/archives/4910).

Date is Friday, May 20. Set up starts at 5:30 am and the event wraps at 9:00 am, and we're happy to have you help out with whatever time chunk works for you.

If you're game, shoot me an email (erin.potter@bikearlington.com) and I can get you more details.

If you are not great at high fives, the guy looming behind me can give you some tips. And then you will be all set! For life, and for volunteering.

Tip of the Day:

Don't cook bacon in the nude.

I'm never going to be able to un-read that!

Tip of the Day:

Don't cook bacon in the nude.

Especially if you use a machine gun to cook it (although some people say it was a AR-15 rifle - the point still stands).

What are these "high fives" you are talking about? I learned low fives from @dcv, but the "high" variation is unfamiliar to me. Is that something cyclists actually do?

I'm altitude agnostic about fives.

In the spirit of inclusivity for Ents (and others), volunteers with interest/ability in only low fives and/or no interest in fives of any kind are certainly welcome.
The whole moderately pleasant thing, however, stands.
