The city is considering putting King St on a road diet between TC Williams high school and Janneys Lane (where the bike lanes currently end). Please fill out the brief survey linked below especially if you live near this stretch of King St -- the more evidence of public support, the better this will work out.

The City is extending the Surve deadline to Sunday, February 28. If you or someone you know lives in Alexandria, please encourage them to take the survey. You can see more about the project here (http://www.alexandriava.gov/localmotion/info/default.aspx?id=86423).

Option 3 best addresses resident concerns for excessive speeds and pedestrian safety concerns and is the only option that supports the Alexandria City Public School strategic objective for Safe Routes to School.

Make this section of King Street a model Complete Street - safe for all users, by voting for Option 3.

I dont believe you do, there's an option for living outside of Alexandria.

No, anyone can vote, but it is especially important for residents of Alexandria to vote.
